Firiteaz is a small, traditional village in Romania situated about 40 minutes from Timisoara and 20 minutes from Arad. In 2004, a Swiss eco-family fell in love with these lands, moved here and began to develop eco-projects in the area. Starting with farming and manufacturing, we’ve made this place our home and, together with friends, are building a consciousness community around the values we believe in: love and respect for nature and every being.

With this in our hearts, a community centre, wooden huts, canvas tents, tree houses, afforestation, and eco-gardens, are all on the program for this ecovillage. Firiteaz is also open to new members who wish to invest in opening micro-eco-businesses in the region and repopulate its surroundings.
